FLAVOUR DESCRIPTION
The aroma is faintly floral, suggesting dried flowers, and lightly fruity, with hints of dried banana and dried apple. A suggestion of vanilla toffee and, wait, a hint of pineapple. Unreduced, the taste is sweet throughout, with a long warming finish, very pleasant indeed. A drop of water, no more, opens it up increasing the floral element and introducing a trace of orange peel, becoming more vigorous and adding extra spice to the finish, as well as a satisfying, perfumed aftertaste.Sophisticated and fragile like a Dowager Duchess.
THE DESIGN
The Tight Line, an expression of good luck among Scotland’s anglers, hails from an area of Scotland renowned for its fly-fishing. The intricate detail in which the fly is depicted reveals beauty, but with a barb.
